Kaizer Chiefs progressed to the semi-finals of the Nedbank cup in South Africa after a 2-1 over Casric Stars with goals from Caleb and Du Preez in the 11th and 63rd min for Kaizer chiefs respectively and Mosadi got the consolation in the 61ST minute for Casric Stars.
Man of the Match Mduduzi Shabalala says they are trying their best to get Kaizer Chiefs back to where they belong.
“Obviously we’re trying all our level best to bring back the club where it belongs and we’re doing well so far, it’s just that we must keep on working hard and keep on getting those three points, we’ll get it right. We promise that we’ll fight until the last and thank you for the support,” Shabalala told the media.
“We knew it was not going to be an easy one but the important thing is that we got the early goal which setup a good momentum for us, even though we missed so many chances.
“It’s something that we’ve been lacking throughout the season but the good thing is that we’re getting there and we’re creating the goal-scoring opportunities,” he said.
