After defeating his colleagues by receiving too many votes in the voting exercise conducted by the Account of DR Congo FA called LEOPARD FOOT.
Mayele has won the Award after getting 8306 votes out of 102,606 votes cast on the Party’s accounts which is equal to 81.8% of all votes. The attacker was competing with Neeskens Kebano who plays for Fulham, Jackson Muleka who plays for Besiktas Club, Dieumerci Mbokani who plays for SK Beveren, Meshack Elia who plays for Young Boys, Yoane Wissa of Brentford and Chancel Mbemba of Olympique Marseille.
The 28year old scored 3 goals in 8 matches in the CAFCL for Yanga and was also in a top form this season with 4hattricks in all competitions.
