League Leaders Aduana Stars claimed the bragging right after hitting 2 passes to newly promoted Nsoatreman kind courtesy Gabriel Akwasi Mensah and Richards Afriyie.
Aduana Stars went into the game with full confidence following an exciting away win over Dreams FC at the theater of Dreams. As usual, Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side started the game on the upper hand over Nsoatremanand controlled the game in the early stages of the Bono derby.
Aduana FC broke the deadlock of the game in the 36th minute through the 16-year-old Gabriel Akwasi Mensah to make it 1-0 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park just before half time.
Back from recess, Nsoatreman came into the game pushing for their equalizer but the defence of Aduana stars lead by Stephen Anokye Badu were resolute to prevent Nsoatreman from scoring.
Getting to the dying embers of the game, Richards Afriyie put the icing on the cake in the 86th minute to make it 2-0 for Aduana Stars.
Following the win, they remain 1st with 31pts, 5 points clear Goldstars at second whilst Nsoatreman drops to 12th with 20pts.
