He has become the new focal point for Hearts of Oak, transitioning from the Auroras, the club’s junior team, to the senior team this season.
His rise coincided with Hearts of Oak’s struggle for goals earlier this season.

Hamza Issah’s football journey is truly remarkable. Growing up in Zongo Laka, Ashaiman, it’s no surprise that those who witnessed his childhood days are amazed by his achievements.

Between the ages of 8 and 10, he was known as Carlos for his energy, defensive skills, and powerful shots while playing as a defender and goalkeeper for Gedu School Complex, founded by Anchro.
Later, he captained Lord Mission School during the Inter School Competition in Ashaiman (JHS).
Hamza Issah is an incredibly versatile player. He began his career as a defender and goalkeeper, smoothly transitioning to midfield, and now excelling as a striker.
Remarkably, during his younger days, he even coached a small team that competed in the Ashaiman small poles league. Unfortunately, he had to disband the team after losing one of his best young strikers, Drogba.
Hamza Issah’s dedication and passion for the game have truly paid off. His journey showcases his versatility and love for football.
