69th-minute substitute Antoine Semenyo puts Ghana at the top of Group E with a last-minute goal to pip Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The black stars pf Ghana started the game on a brighter note and controlled the tempo of the game but the defense of Angola was resolute not to concede in the early stages of the game.
The game was full of chances for the Black Stars which the Angola keeper ensured none resulted in a goal.
After 90 minutes and an additional minute of 6 minutes which had elapsed, Antoine Semenyo was able to score the winning goal.
Ghana will face Angola in Luanda on Monday in the return leg.
A win for the stars will see them through the next stage of the qualifiers.
